After 27 years in large corporate organisations, I reached a point where I wanted to step away from the corporate world and experience more freedom. The challenge of learning something completely new appealed to me, particularly in a role where I could work directly with customers again in a growing company. A major turning point came when my wife was unwell with cancer in 2023/24. That experience opened my eyes to the importance of having the right protection in place — something I had previously taken for granted. It led me to reflect on my career path and why I’ve now joined the team at Every Mortgage Matters to focus on supporting clients with their protection needs.

I enjoy getting outdoors and climbing Munros when I can. I also try to get to the gym regularly and stay active by walking our four French Bulldogs. We love spending time in Florida, as a family and at home my main hobby is being a 24/7 taxi driver for our two teenagers!
